Your skincare professional will apply a topical anesthetic to numb your skin, ensuring you have a comfortable and relatively pain-free experience. From there, the cosmetic roller is gently pressed against the skin, gliding in one direction then the next evenly across your skin. We’ll happily discuss and breakdown the whole process in great depth at our free consultation.
Treatment usually takes between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of the area treated.
Many of our patients notice an immediate ‘glow’ to their skin. However, most visible changes will develop over several days or a few weeks. If you continue to participate in treatment, results can continue to improve for up to 6 months.
The most common side effect is skin irritation and redness immediately following the procedure. This should disappear in a few days. Although very rare, if you experience bleeding, bruising, infection or peeling, contact your doctor or our clinic immediately.
